SOFTSWISS Strengthens Leadership: Appoints First Chief AI Officer and New Chief Technology Officer

Sports betting solutions provider SOFTSWISS has completed the second of two major appointments in its technology leadership this month, naming a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Sergey Kastukevich was appointed to this senior leadership role. He has worked as Deputy CTO at the company for over five years and joined SOFTSWISS in 2020 from the IT company ScienceSoft.

He is tasked with overseeing the company’s technology roadmap, including software architecture and infrastructure strategy, technology security and reliability, and engineering team productivity.

Kastukevich stated:“In this role, my focus will remain on strengthening the technical foundations that enable rapid, secure, and high-quality delivery while also driving innovation across everything we do.

“At SOFTSWISS, technology leadership means not only ensuring reliability and scalability, but also shaping a culture where engineers can create forward-looking solutions and continuously evolve our products.

“I am committed to further strengthening SOFTSWISS as a trusted technology company that sets new standards for the iGaming industry,” Kastukevich said.

Sergey Kastukevich holds a senior executive position at SOFTSWISS, a company with a strong presence in key European, African, and Latin American markets, at a particularly important time for the gaming industry.

Across these three continents, regulatory changes and tax reforms are underway, while technology continues to play an increasingly disruptive role in the sector. Artificial intelligence, in particular, is having a significant impact on industry development.

SOFTSWISS noted that Kastukevich’s promotion to CTO came just a week after Denis Romanovskiy was appointed as the company’s first Chief AI Officer, a senior leadership role fully responsible for overseeing the use of AI technologies.

Ivan Montik, founder of SOFTSWISS, said: “Sergey has consistently demonstrated the kind of leadership that is critical for a technology-driven business – strong engineering judgement, long-term thinking, and the ability to build systems that perform under pressure.

“His promotion to CTO aligns with our strategy for 2026, where platform stability, scalability, and technological discipline are key pillars of sustainable growth.”
