Missouri casino revenue increases 13% to $158.3m for January

Century Casino Caruthersville was the only gaming establishment in Missouri to not report an increase in revenue from the prior year period, having decreased 0.5% for a total of $4.2m.

The largest increase in revenue out of all Missouri properties stemmed from Mark Twain Casino which rose 26% for a total of $2.9m
 

The Missouri Gaming Commission has reported the state’s total casino activity for January 2026, as revenue from the Show Me State’s retail gaming properties reached $158.3m, equating to growth of 13%. 

Ameristar St. Charles and River City Casino generated the highest revenues of any property in Missouri during January 2026, increasing 10% and 13%, respectively, for totals of $24.5m and $21.6m. 

Hollywood Casino St. Louis also eclipsed the $20m revenue mark for January 2026, as revenue increased 12% year-over-year to $20.9m. 

Ameristar Kansas City accounted for $15.9m of Missouri’s total casino revenue for January 2026 and grew 12%, while Harrash’s Kansas City property generated $14.8m, representing an increase of 21%. 

Argosy Casino produced just over $14m of January 2026 casino revenue, equating to growth of 12%, while Horseshoe St. Louis managed to generate $12.7m and increase revenue 19% from the prior year period. 

Mark Twain Casino, St. Jo Frontier and Isle of Capri Boonville reported the highest increases of Missouri land-based casinos during January 2026, rising 26%, 22% and 22%, respectively, for totals of $2.9m, $4m and $7.2m. 

Century Casino Caruthersville was the only retail gaming establishment in Missouri to report a decrease in casino revenue year-over-year, falling 0.5% to $4.2m. 

Bally’s Kansas City reported a 6% increase in casino revenue for January 2026, having accounted for $9.8m of the Show Me State’s monthly total. 

The Missouri Gaming Commission also reported that table game revenue during January 2026 increased 7% for a total of $21.8m, while revenue from electronic gaming devices (EGDs) climbed 14% to just over $136.4m.
