Staff from the State Lottery of Paraná (Lottopar) participated in the launch of a new state-level training program focused on public procurement and contract management.
The initiative, presented by acting Governor Darci Piana, aims to qualify up to 2,000 public servants to operate in accordance with Brazil’s Public Procurement and Administrative Contracts Law (No. 14.133/2021).
In its initial phase, 850 participants will undergo training, with additional stages planned to reach the full target.
The program is designed to prepare professionals directly involved in purchasing processes, tender procedures and contract management, aligning state operations with the legal framework and recognized public governance practices.
Authorities state that the objective is to standardize procedures, reduce operational risks and increase legal certainty in state-level contracting.
Lottopar’s presence at the event signals its “institutional commitment to administrative compliance and technical qualification,” according to the company in an official note.
The state lottery has highlighted that it already maintains internal regulations, compliance controls and governance mechanisms focused on transparency and integrity.
Participation in the new training program is positioned as an additional step toward strengthening its technical capacity in managing contracts and administrative procedures.
Lottopar has also recently intensified on-site inspections of betting points across Paraná, reinforcing compliance monitoring in both dedicated and non-dedicated retail locations.
“By investing in the training of its employees, Lottopar expands its technical capacity in managing contracts and administrative processes, ensuring greater operational efficiency and alignment with legal requirements,” also stated the company.
