Turnover rose across all gambling sectors, with the exception of odds betting.

The shift from land-based gambling to online platforms continued last year, with online gambling making up 59.5% of the total GGR.

Similar to prior years, technical games, which include slot machines, accounted for the largest share of total turnover at CZK 843.3bn, up 8.8% year-on-year. The technical games GGR amounted to CZK 37.4 billion.

Last year, turnover from odds betting fell to CZK 138.5bn. After two consecutive years of 10% growth in deposits, the volume of odds bets declined by 4.6% year-on-year. GGR for odds betting totalled CZK 13.73bn.

In November last year, Brightstar Lottery announced a new contract to supply instant ticket games to Czech lottery operator Sazka.

The agreement granted Sazka, which operates as part of the Allwyn group and plans to rebrand under the Allwyn name in 2026, access to Brightstar's complete portfolio of instant ticket products, including the company's patented Infinity Instants print and design technology.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two companies.
