ThrillTech is bringing its services to another European iGaming market after securing a licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) in Greece.
The Category A1 Manufacturer’s Licence will allow ThrillTech to offer its side-bet jackpot product, ThrillPots, to regulated iGaming operators in the Greek market.
Giles Potter, Chief Marketing Officer at ThrillTech, commented: “As we continue to expand internationally, we’re especially proud of this approval, as it makes ThrillTech the first specialist iGaming jackpot provider to be licensed in Greece.
“We can’t wait to roll out in the market and demonstrate how our side-bet jackpot model delivers compelling new engagement mechanics which delight players while generating significant new revenues for our operator partners.”
ThrillTech noted that it secures its own regulatory licences and certifications as its jackpot technology is entirely independent of an iGaming operator’s casino games and betting products.
Side-bet jackpots don’t interfere with core game mathematics or alter a game’s return-to-player (RTP) probabilities, so the company secures appropriate licences and certifications to operate its proprietary random number generator (RNG) software.
This RNG determines the outcomes of the independent side-bet jackpots, which have a separate operator-defined RTP and are funded by jackpot side bets placed by opted-in players.
Greece joins a list of European markets where ThrillTech is licensed or certified, including the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Malta and the recently announced Gibraltar.
The provider is also licensed or certified to provide its services in markets across the Americas in Brazil, Peru and the Canadian province of Ontario.
